Added a license file. You mentioned "BSD style" in the header, but the file wasn't there. I copied this one from your tools repo, and updated the year. Is that ok? We have automated license file checking and this makes my life a little easier :)
Added a go.mod file. I've left the existing dep config file in place just in case.
Added ability for the static assets to be updated using go generate ./...
