I would also give a +1 on this request, since we implemented GTM server side we are unable to use dataslayer to check GA4 sent data
I'd +1 this as well. I'd guess that dataslayer pulls the events by watching requests to certain URLs (that's how we checked data going to GA pre-dataslayer). If we could input the URL/domain of our GTM server maybe that would be a solution.

We recently start using server side tracking for one of our customers.
Obviously Dataslayer is a browser extention and works client-side. Therefor we can't find any data in Dataslayer:
When adding for example 'dataslayer test' to the gtag, we do find a dataslayer, but no data that sends to for example GA4:
when using another browser extension for datalayer, we however do find datalayer data without adding anything to the gtag:
We do test a lot using Dataslayer, so our question is whether there is some work-around or alternative when using server side tracking to still make use of Dataslayer or do you have any recommendations on that?
