iOS 13 changed fan and light to one object #24

I am seeing two problems:

1) the light isn’t responding at all to the homekit control, and 2) there are two controls, one for fan and one for light; these used to be separate, but now both open the same panel showing a light, a fan, a direction, and The sensor status. It all appears to work except the light. Except that we now don’t need separate objects for three different things...

Not sure why your light is not responding. Mine works just fine. The controls being grouped is an iOS 13 "feature". In iOS 13.2 you now have the option to split everything back out into separate tiles. User choice.
