I commented out this line: existingAccessory.updateReachability(true); It causes issues when installing from scratch on homebridge >= to 1.0.0. I also included changes from a fork that removed the occupancy code. As occupancy was implemented it was not working very well. It would not updated and as is, it was causing issues with the native app and it's "smart" sensor functions.

took back this PR as i think there are other issues occurring.
