Audible Match Pulls No Info #90

Closed Ralphman21 closed 1 year ago

Ralphman21 commented 1 year ago

Recently when I try the match with audible the results do not show any tags or cover art. The first result, which I assume is the closest match, is always the genre. The author, length or the book are all shown correctly, but when I move to the ‘Adjust tag information’ window, no tags or cover art is shown.

Yes, it seems audible made a breaking change.

Here is the main issue thread https://github.com/seanap/Audible.com-Search-by-Album/issues/28

Sean,

I'm having this same issue today. I understand that you updated your source to fix it, but is there a method that MP3tag will update that, or do I need to redownload and overwrite the mp3tag folders with your plugin myself?

seanap commented 1 year ago

There is no way to update custom web source scripts from within mp3tag. You will either need to redownload the src script and overwrite the old one in the mp3tag appdata folder, or you can just open the .src script up in notepad and modify the line of code per this solution https://github.com/seanap/Audible.com-Search-by-Album/issues/28#issuecomment-1336213946.
