I have stuff e.g. "Prepare for Quarterly Meeting".
In GTD, I would need:
a next action e.g. "email Jim re: invitation to present"
a project because that single action will not achieve the outcome by itself
The question is about what happens when I actually send the email. In GTD, I would erase the email action and add an entry on the W/F list.
With a real domain model behind us, how do we more fully capture what's going on here? Longer term, we'd like functionality like that in #22, but for now:
Action erasure - It seems the obvious equivalent is to mark the email action complete w. timestamp.
W/F - We want this to appear in all of: 1) the project 2) the W/F list 3) the person's agenda e.g. in case we run into them and want to check in about it. So I think this is a separate entry, not a status update to the email sending
