I wonder if you could provide details on your research of newer authentication system (Android protocol). I suppose push notifications issue you mentioned, if understood right, could be solved using microG code to emulate Google services. This could be useful not only for Disa, but for other alternative clients as well, such as Loqui IM project on UBPorts.
