Please make this application translatable #2

Hello,

my kids are not english speaking, but I'd love to use this software with them. I think that the main thing to do would be to remove the text from the png images, and re-add them at runtime from the application.

This would maybe make it more complicated for the printable version but I think we can live without translating this feature for now...

Hi,

Yes, you're right that the main job would be to remove the text from the PNGs and then change the code to render it at runtime. You're also right that it would complicate the print feature. If I recall correctly the other texts in the app (button labels etc) are not internationalised either, but that would be easier to fix.

You're not the first person who's asked about translating StoryMaps. I wish I had had a clue about internationalisation when I created it, but I didn't.
