Can't connect to ipod in infastructure mode, but it works in ad-hoc mode #1099

Which device (manufacturer, type)? HTC EVO 3D

Which firmware is installed? 2.3.3 (viperROM RC1.2

What version of wireless tether are you using? 3.1-beta5

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. No network connectivity with ipod devices using infastructure mode.  Only 
works with ad-hoc mode.  infastructure mode seems to work fine with my HP 
laptop.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Setup WiFi Tether to "Auto" in the setup method, and connect ipod to the 
android's wifi connection. You will notice that wifi connects, but without 
network connectivity . . . even with the routing fix checked.

If I change the WiFi tether to ad-hoc mode, the ipod seems to work.  The issue 
could be with my custom rom.

Please provide any additional information below.
