Which device (manufacturer, type)?
Motorola droid 3
Which firmware is installed?
I think its gingerbread
What version of wireless tether are you using?
I tried most versions
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.root
2.download app
3.run app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to be able to tether. Instead my internet 3g stops working and when i
try to go onlin, i always get redirrected to a verizon website asking for me to
pay for tethering
Please provide any additional information below.
This never happened before and ive read that the problem is verizon is trying
to keep people from tethering for free. I would really appreciate it if someone
found a way around it since the main reason i got the d3 was to root and tether
it.

Yeah, I'm getting the sane issue with my droidx using the latest version
(version 6?) All of a sudden Verizon seems to be able to discover the tether.
It was working, and now it isn't. I wonder if reverting the phone back
pre-gingerbread would help... haven't tried that yet.
