wep or wap support for droid 3

 Motorola droid 3

Which firmware is installed?
 android version 2.3.4

What version of wireless tether are you using?
 3.1-beta6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. it turn on just fine by when i go on my Motorola Xoom WiFi still
   cant see androidtether

 still cant see androidtether

I am having a similar problem with the Droid 3. If I use no encryption, I can 
see the hotspot, but I can't connect to it.
