No data with Moto Triumph #1116

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Rooted phone with GingerBreak latest
2. Set type to Galaxy S or NexusOne
3. Set method to Netd
4. Start tether.
5. Connect and set to static IP 192.168.2.25, etc

What is the expected output? 
Normal Internet page loads.

What do you see instead?
Page load failure

Please provide any additional information below.
I am able to get ad hoc net connection with Barnacle, but I need infrastructure 
for my TouchPad.
