Connects, but no internet capabilities

What version of wireless tether are you using?
Wireless Tether 2.0.5-Pre10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Start Tether
2.  connect with PC
3.  Open home page

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected - Homepage opens (Google)
Results - no internet access

Please provide any additional information below.
Evo rooted with Unrevoked 3.21
Setup Wireless Tether, allowed root access
start wireless tether with WPA configured, Infrastructure mode
Change SSID
Change Encryption Key
Changed network 192.168.3.0/24
Access control enabled
Configure client to connect, client connects
Clients:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit, Intel Wireless 5300 drivers
Windows 7 Professional 32bit, Dell 1390 drivers

Both clients able to connect fine.  enabled through access control.  Both get 
an IP address, Gateway, DNS, etc.  Neither detect the internet available.  
Neither can open a browser.

I updated to Wireless Tether 2.0.5-Pre12 with no change in behavior.

Mmmhh. That's a bit weird. You get an ipaddress from the dhcp-server (which is 
running on the phone) but your ARE NOT able to ping the gateway (the phone)?

Could you please turn the access-control feature off and try again?

With Access control off, I was able to ping the gateway, but I'm not in a 
position to be able to test if I can access through it right now.

Previously, I had to do an ipconfig /renew to get an address, it did not 
automatically give me one.  With the Access-Control off, I was able to get an 
IP automatically.

OK, I can ping the gateway, but I'm not able to go out beyond the gateway.

DNS resolution does not work, unable to ping by name or IP to the internet.

Updated to 2.0.5-Pre14 and it is now working!
