Gutenberg editor: text position is lost when using Add a Footnote option #39

In the Gutenberg editor, start typing and use the "Add a footnote" option. The cursor disappears from the text you are typing when it should remain at the same location. (The default buttons, like the bold option, have hte correct behavior)
