Background Change DOESN'T work #1

Follow up via gconf-edit - the problem resides in compiz-fusion and thus needs to be set across the board. This means an opportunity to set up compiz-fusion from the script as well (and the splash screen for branding purposes).

Followed up, seems to work on my current install, more testing is necessary. I also added compiz-fusion changes to the configuration via gconftool-2

Still no joy, reviewing the issue but the problem seems to be with the compiz configuration clashing with gnome and the background update not really pushing through the mess. More research needed.

Changed it again, still no joy, also need to make it configure compiz-fusion cube/sphere deformation automagically
