list continuation? #3

I think between nova-markdownclips and Nova's core functions there's no way to automatically continue a list … right?

Like, as in TextMate for example , if I reach the end of item "4. Fourth thing" and hit Enter or option-Return or similar, I get to the next line with "5. " inserted just before.

Assuming that function isn't already there and I'm missing it, please consider this a feature request for your consideration.

I appreciate this extension!

Hi @chreliot. Thank you for getting in touch, and the kind words.

Markdown Clips makes use of Nova's clips functionality, which facilitates the insertion of text and code with caret positioning. I think Panic would need to add the feature to Nova's Markdown editor itself. Markdown Clips saves time by inserting list templates, and Nova could then detect the Markdown list and continue it downward.

I recommend suggesting this to Panic, and hopefully they'll add it in. 👍🏻
