Prerequisites

Description

Along side hosting hosts (RFC:954) blacklists, you should be hosting a "Clean" alternative, for easier import for the majority. who do not rely on ~60 years old technology, but have moved on to more modern approaches like RPZ- and firewalls. It will in general, be easier to import by any program, as it won't need a cleaning process first.

A clean list, is a lists that only contains the domains, no comment, no prefix, domains only

I have started to work on this. There is now a clean list variant for all blocklists.

If you gives me the link to the clean list(s) that should be used for blacklisting, I can keep them tested for active records. The system used to test these are tested on a currently beta program and is based on https://github.com/funilrys/pyfunceble. I have promised not tell about this as it is in beta, with a unknown horizon for launch.

All of the lists (including the clean lists) are included in the repository already. It is still in a very early stage of development. I am very new to working with hosts files.

I was referring to to have some lists that are historical, while other is active. I find it difficult to see which you would like to use as blacklists sources, and which to not include, this said to help consider is you should separate how you store your data sources
