automate max line width formatting for markdown and latex docs #26

as described. the prettier formatter tool paired with the editor doesn't format max width automatically.

Tabling latex testing until the next time I need to write a paper. Also, it'll be interesting to see how this all works out when we use latex math expressions inside of markdown, specifically for notes.
