Support 3D Surface and Scatter Plots #8

Effort should be made at some point to support 3D surface plots. This feature would simplify analysis of certain image or kernel features by enabling users to view them in space.

As a side note, this is currently in progress and a 3D surface prototype is available via the main development branch. I haven't gotten a minute to get around to fleshing it out more yet though.

Support for 3D surface shape plots like spheroids and paraboloids. In other words, support non-cartesian grids and other coordinate systems natively like spherical coordinates.

Bumping up the priority of this issue as the functionality must be implemented and usable for a presentation scheduled for a few weeks from now.
