What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt a "file search" or "find in file"
2. Either menu "Find" >> "File Search" , or try the key-shortcut "CTRL-SHIFT-F"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
--Expect some sort of file selector dialog ?
---Nothing at all happens
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
X17 , Windows XP SP3 , x86 32bit
