Hey, yeah I'm aware of that feature in Koosemose's mod. I decided not to implement it in mine since it was pretty rough on performance when enabled. I've played around with a few other approaches but haven't been super happy with them. There is a version I made that shows the radii with a minimal hit to performance but the visualization clips through the terrain rather than following the surface contour.
I was hoping to do a nicer visualization using decals and/or some custom shaders but have not had the time to learn how to do that and implement it. Since a few other's have already asked, I may release an update with the current method that doesn't hurt performance as a solution until I have the time to work on a better implementation.
I figured the reason it wasn't implemented might have been something like that, especially as Koosemose mentioned that it was a pretty big performance hit. It is however the main thing I was looking for, a way to specifically see the areas that are missing and coverage. My portal hub is on an island in the middle of nowhere, but I still get random Fulings popping up and I can't figure out where the gaps and coverage are.
Any update on this ? Would be a great addition
I saw that this is an updated alternative to Koosemose's mod, and it works without issue, but the one feature I was really hoping to use was the ability to see the various safety radii from base items. Koosemose's mod had this one a key-toggle, but his mod is reported as broken since the August update.
