I was exploring the Fiji and FSM sea sketch pages today and when I “Zoomed to Bounds” for some of the geomorphology features, it zoomed all the way out to the full extent of the global map instead of to the layer extent.

Verified. I'm guessing it is because of the crossing of the dateline.
