I get the following error log ending with Architecture not supported error for pip install fuzzywuzzy[speedup] after running pip install fuzzywuzzy[speedup]. I have a 2016 Intel Core i5 MacBook Pro running macOS 10.15.6. I am running from a local Python virtual environment, and I have already installed fuzzywuzzy successfully.

pip install fuzzywuzzy[speedup]

This seems to be an unrelated issue with python-Levenshtein instead of fuzzywuzzy. Using this fork fixed the problem for me.
