Synced feeds are inconsistent #108

I use tt-rss with this app. I have set tt-rss to update every 30 minutes. I set this app to sync every 5 minutes.

This is my issue:

  1. I open tt-rss on a desktop browser. I receive unread items. Don't read the items yet.
  2. Open this app and sync (manual or auto).

In my case, not all feeds immediately appear on the app even though I can see them on my desktop (unread).

Because there is a synchronization upper limit in FeedMe.

Can we have an option to disable that?

No, offline reading means cache in app. FeedMe won't download all your unread items. The maximum is 10000, but I recommend you set the value to 1000.

I have set Reading List to 1000 and Items to Keep to 10000. I still have the same issue.

I believe that this is issue is still valid. I am syncing FeedMe to TT-RSS and it almost always requires multiple sync actions to get all the items.

Example: Upon sync, FeedMe would say that there are 50 items, but after sync, I get only 30. If I immediately repeat the sync, it still says 50 items and I get some more, e.g. 45. If I sync repeatedly 3-4 times, I get all the 50 items in FeedMe.

I am not hitting any of the limits and this happens on a brand new installation (both server and client side) consistently.

I would be happy to support debugging and fixing it.
