FeedMe seems to sync twice and the sync/cancel button does not update #174

This problem seems to be just a cosmetic issue and does not prevent me from wanting to use FeedMe, but I decided to try and report it just in case it helps in any way.

The issues can be clearly seen in the animated gif below.

  1. "fetching reading list" seems to restart once (or run twice). May this happen by design?
  2. The button on the top/right (sync/cancel sync) does not update unless I slide to close and then reopen the side panel. Even in this case, the button updates to a cross (during sync) but seems unresponsive.

I am using the latest FeedMe running on LOS16. This seems to happen even after a FeedMe clean install...

  1. yes, by design.

    • First step to fetch the unread items with a timestamp which is the last sync time.
    • Second step to fetch the unread items if the unread items do not reach the cache count.

  2. yes, need improve.
