whups, that mention 5 minutes ago is completely unrelated, please ignore it. ;)
@rom-1 can you pls provide the rss url here or via mail?
@seazon I can provide the rss url, but this will not help you. This is the rss url: https://www.reddit.com/top.rss but it contains a lot of content, not only gif files. maybe you have better luck with this one: https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/top.rss or https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/new.rss
Hi, I am using FeedMe with FreshRSS. I disabled all Download Options, as I do not need Offline Sync. This means if I go to a RSS post, the content is showing up in real time, not from a downloaded cache. This works great with .jpg images and video files (mp4). But .gif files are never displayed.
Example This is the original link fetched by RSS: https://www.reddit.com/r/memes/comments/mo44sj/just_like_the_simulations_hopefully/ In FreshRSS, this is the content of the post, and also this is the content that is fetched by FeedMe:
So, the gif source url is: https://i.redd.it/tnvhc360fcs61.gif This gif shows fine in FreshRSS Web Interface.
When looking at the FeedMe overview post list, this seem to work, there is a small thumbnail visible, screenshot:
When viewing the post content, the GIF does not show up:
After going back to the FeedMe overview post list, the thumbnail has suddenly disappeared:
I already tried fiddling with the feed settings, and clearing the cache multiple times, but I don't get it to work. When trying to switch to "web" view, it says: "this page is too large, size: 3147068 byte".
