I do not think a warning is necessary. Simply a prolonged pause, double the normal when going from one paragraph to another.

If it's a melody I think it's fine, if it's a silence I don't think it's fine.

There is no need for a melody for separation because humans listen to it, not machines. ;) I've never experienced any audio book, audio article or podcast that introduces the title nor the text content with a specific audio signal. It's just not natural.
