Sync also favorites/marked with standard sync? #624

I know we have discussed this bevor with the old version. If i remember correctly, you would implement this one upon a time for v4.x

Can we please bring this feature back to discussion? It's only wish as of now... would be nice to see that feature.

I have the same trouble, because I have more than 600 favorites, when I use FeedMe to synchronize, it will synchronize these more than 600 favorites and the pictures again every single time, which consumes a lot of time, I sincerely ask the author to consider optimizing this problem

@Offerel Is there a ticket for this? @LD-KiLLer I think you talked is another issue. @Offerel want to sync not only unread articles, but also read articles and favorites (AKA starred in feedme), right?

Yes. I don't know if that's possible, but there seems to be something called "fast sync" at least in terms of FreshRSS. Maybe this can speed up the sync. I haven't read the whole topic on the FreshRSS repo so far. FocusReader on Android, sync with FreshRSS in the way it is optimal for me . But I absolutely don't like all the tracking inside this app. That's why I'm using FeedMe.

According to the FreshRSS repo, FocusReader uses the "fast sync" and FeedMe not. I have no idea if this makes syncing of starred articles possible.

If others didn't want this behavior, maybe it's a wise idea to make that optional.

Regarding the ticket. I have only found a closed issue for this topic from my side. Maybe we have discussed that via mail. I'm not sure. It's to long ago.

@Offerel https://github.com/seazon/FeedMe/issues/321 So this is your request. Please check the sync doc: https://github.com/seazon/FeedMe/blob/master/doc/en/sync.md#synchronously It lists 4 sync way, please check which one is better to your case.

Yes, that's my request. I have re-checked 4.0.2. If i click the sync button in the upper right, it syncs the way i want it, this seems to be the "Complete automatic synchronization". But when i open the app, it does not. Instead it does whats described as "Fast automatic synchronization".

I don't know, if you can implement optionally a "Complete automatic synchronization" when opening the app. This are my current sync settings: Screenshot_20230917_115909_FeedMe Screenshot_20230917_115950_FeedMe Screenshot_20230917_120001_FeedMe

Would be a nice feature at least for me.
