Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Upon opening an app in Android, you are being redirected to All items page from where you can either scroll down or scroll up (which shouldn't be the case). All the articles above are automatically marked as READ. This is because a Feature 'Auto Mark Read' is enabled from Settings -> Interface -> Articles List. I like this feature, and I want to keep it enabled but your screen (article list) should be positioned at the top once you launch the app. You shouldn't be able to SCROLL UP from when you first open the app

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Make sure to 'Force Close' the app.
  2. Open app -> It should be on 'All items' page
  3. You can start scrolling up, which essentially makes all articles ABOVE to be marked as 'READ' if 'Auto Mark Read' is enabled. It seems like the starting position to read articles is somewhere in the middle looking at the scroll bar

Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

  1. Make sure to 'Force Close' the app.
  2. Open app -> It should be on 'All items' page
  3. You cannot start scrolling up, your screen should be at the top and there will be no articles marked as read. You can only start scrolling down

Additional context Add any other context about the problem here.

Update 1 It seems once you load all articles, then force close and open the app, articles appear to show correctly and your starting position is at the top. Perhaps it is only an issue when starting app and there are new articles.

Update 2 If you cannot replicate the issue. You can do following: First make sure you have loaded articles, then scroll down little bit which should mark articles above as read, then refresh it again (it should load new articles and move you to the top), then shut down the app and re-open it.

I have been experiencing this since I started using the app a long time ago (years?). It has really been annoying but have got the habit to always start scrolling up. I finally had time to look at the issues and found I am not the only one. I am here to help testing if needed. This is the only annoyance that would make the app more than perfect for me. Anyways, still one of the best RSS reader around.
