Opens article, not article list #755

Hi,

sometimes FeedMe opens directly an article and not the article list. I can't reproduce it directly. Totally random. That issue was not in previous versions.

Also happens to me. At first I though it had something to do with "Flip Percent" or "Nav Panel", as those were the only settings I remember changing recently. However, restoring the previous values to these settings does not seem to make a difference and often an article opens as soon as FeedMe is brought into focus. (The issue appears to not occur if FeedMe is force closed first.)

It seems that this problem is related to deeplink, which is a function added to quickly enter articles from desktop widgets. I will check it.

For me, FeedMe always opens the last article I read even if I am on the article list when I close it. It should open the article list when I return to the app.

  • Locking the screen, even for 1 second, causes the app to close the article and go back to the article list
  • Opening a link and then closing it causes the app to go back to the article list, not the article containing the link
  • Switching apps or going to the home screen does the same as well

None of these happen to me. It stays on the article I've opened and doesn't go back to the article list. Perhaps FeedMe is shutting down somehow. This would explain why it would go back to the article list when you reopened it.

After experimenting with it some more, the issue does not happen deterministically. After some amount of time that the app has been open, the issue starts. Force killing the app seems to make the issue stop occurring for a while. I don't think that FeedMe is shutting down, since killing it actually fixes the problem, and it happens when opening a link and then going back as well.
