cant launch ubuntu mate desktop #6

i installed the ubuntu mate desktop for a lightweight ui but it says its not there here is the output: cat: /usr/share/xsessions/ubuntu-mate.desktop: No such file or directory

i also typed : brioche mycontainer desktop ubuntu-mate

You probably need the "mate-session" package. After run "brioche mycontainer list-desktops" to identify the correct desktop name.

Try the package "mate-session-manager"

now i know.. it is the incorrect name. the desktop is "mate"

What does "brioche mycontainer list-desktops" returns ?

I received a github notification about a fullscreen issue but I don't see it so I am answering here. Pressing F10 should bring you fullscreen, It should work with all apps but several DE do not support it (notably Gnome and KDE).

so the fullscreen is not working when i press f10 it just mutes the sound
