Thinkpad T14s, camera & microphone #1135

Hi,

Done several installs of brunch, different images (boards), releases etc. and both cam & mic fail to work.

The cam is detected, but in dmesg, I get the failed to start...

The mic is not even available as a choice via amixer.

I tried fydeOS, which i believe is based on 89, that "was" able to get the cam working, but no sound and no mic.

Is this just because the current kernels used by chromium aren't new enough?

Just an update... the options for camera detection resolve the webcam issue, but the microphone seems a little more tricky.

Seems this t14s has a new digital mic array which requires a kernel > 5.4, meaning 5.10... but this in turns cause issues with the play store and a message about the PSU being low power.

I can confirm the mic does work (in a fashion) with the 5.10 kernel, and I've captured audio using arecord, but the actual chromium / chrome os installation refuses to use it.

So, am stuck using a headphone set with mic for the time being.
