Hello long time brunch user here , amateur troubleshooter.

Been using brunch for a few years on an older laptop. Was able to install and use it no issue.

I have already moved my entire workflow into the chrome os eco system for a number of years so switching back isnt an option for me currently.

Anyways my laptop died and I bought a replacement desktop.

I've installed windows ( for steam and gaming only) then proceeded to install Linux

and chrome os , then add the entries to grub.

All that has worked without a hitch. I installed using the voxel image as per the instructions.

I appear to freeze on applying patches after leaving it there overnight.

My use case is I need windows and the video card for steam and gaming, i heavily use steam streaming to a steam deck for non Linux supported games .etc.

Hardware wise on the tower I have a HDMI going from the NVidia card to input one on my monitor for windows, and another hdmi going from the mobo to input 2 on the monitor for chrome os. I have disabled the motherboard output in windows via device manager.

Not sure if this is correct or not as I haven't had any experience using brunch on a non optimus system.

I am fully aware the nvidia card wont work in brunch I'm fine fine with that, i just cant be fully removing it from the system physically.

Attached is a speccy screenshot of the system specs and photos of the verbose boot.

Would appreciate any help available as I need to get my work system back and up and running ASAP in chrome OS.

Thanks again to all involved and apologies if this is a repeat topic.
