Bringup Camera on Surface Pro 5 #2109

I have a surface pro 5, which has working camera in linux. I merged latest linux-surface kernel patches and I build brunch framework myself. IPU3 and OVxxxx are detected as shown in dmesg, but the camera never works. I guess some userspace changes are necessary, like libcamera as well as some configurations. But how?

Hi 👋

I'm also using a Surface Pro 5.

Was your camera working well in Linux, just like in Windows, or was it terrible like I've seen with some Surface Pro 4s?

I haven't had any success getting mine to work.

Cams work in Linux.

How can you activate the camera on brunch / chromeos?
