Really not sure how to do this pull request stuff :-)

Richard Cotton had submitted a PR on my fork, which I'm now trying to merge back in with yours. Also, made a modification to the Linux readClip code.

Actually, you've been much more active in regards to the development of this. Would you like to have formal maintainership?
