What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go to settings
2.check the hide option
3.go back to notebook

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Can not hide Status bar (are you root?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest (10.5)

The hide status bar thing worked only on Honeycomb, and not on android 4+. 
Since time has marched on that is now the case for most...
