"Default link type" does nothing #242

The option to select the "Default link type" has no effect on the editing interface.

If I set it to category: image

Then assign that field to an entry type: image

The button is always set to (No link). It'd expect it to be "Category". What's the purpose of this setting?

I'm experiencing the same issue.

@sebastian-lenz Any news on this? I know it's a side project, but I filed this almost 2 months ago.

This only seems to work when adding the linkfield field to a global fieldlayout. When adding it to an entry, or matrix block it does not work
