same problem with Safari 5.0.1, the browser asks for permission but does not set location!?
Hi, Is it possible for you to enable debug mode on your android-browser (it's possible with the iphone's Safari) ? Maybe you will see any js errors. And yes it could be because of jquery, have tot test with it. Thanks for your feedback !
Hi,
it is working here on an HTC Desire (Android 2.2) both with the default browser and with Dolphin browser.
After it asks you to allow the site to access your position information you have to reload the page (sometimes twice) in order to get the coordinates.
IMPORTANT: I think this issue is solved with the proposed correction in issue # 8.
I will try to release a new version with your fix this weekend

using this great plugin in desktop browsers (chrome+firefox) works fine. Thanks a lot for the plugin!
But trying the same app in my browser on a Motorola milestone with android-browser (webkit-engine) asks for permission to get the location but does not set it in the session. are there any bugs known?
I am using jquery instead of prototype as js framework
