Freeze Emacs if the doc is large #118

While I input emacs-mode-map and see its doc, the Emacs freezes. The doc looks large since the doc window is big. Not sure if it's related to Emacs build. I am using Emacs-mac 27.1 on macOS Catalina.

I don't have this problem on Linux machine, confirmed with Arch Linux, Emacs 28.0.50, and latest version MELPA company-box.

so it is related to emacs mac?

I can confirm the issue occurs only on emacs-macport. Close it.
