Scrolling with trackpad doesn't work

I can't get company-box work with the touchpad in my macbook.

Scrolling down doesn't present new options but just empty entries:

I'm using emacs-28 branch built from sources and revision 156f65cfbf690ed84e0e84f90277d665d873ff24 of company-box.
