I know that this issue can be out of the scope of this project while it aims at properly merging multiple iconic fonts with overlapping code points.
However, it also provide a clean, consistent and robust way to insert some weird characters in scripts and co.
Thus, supporting Noto emoji would also allow to add any Unicode defined emojis to scripts without making in-term editor to do weird things because of to large character.
