No temperature on iMac 4K 2017 #1

Hi, thanks for this great plug-in which works great on my MacBook Late-2009 (light and temperature).

It would make more sense for me to run it on my iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017), but only the ambiant light works ; the temperature keeps showing 0°. Both Macs run the latest macOS version : 10.3.3.

Can you help? Thanks! JayKiL

Hmm, that’s odd. I’m not sure if the native Obj-C++ code could be returning 0 for either one, or all temperature sensors..

Do you happen to have either ‘smcFanControl’ or ‘Macs Fan Control’ installed?

JayKiL commented 6 years ago

I just installed Macs Fan Control, and it returns all the internal temperatures (see included screenshots). And yet, the Homebridge plug-in returns 0° in he Home app...

For me the plugin sadly doen’t work either. I’m using a 2009 Mac mini running 10.11.6, El Capitan. The values are also all read fine using Macs fan control.
