By taking a look at the watering history I can get the total sums of water usage and time spent watering for the day, week, month and year aggregated by zone I believe (novice user here).
This info is very important and useful for the end user, for instance by looking at the absurd liters spent I immediately understood there was a leakage somewhere in the piping and went on a hunt. Sure enough it was found and fixed.
Of course some would argue, me included, this info is also statistically important, but as explained above, just using it as a base for a HASS watering leak alarm automation would be extremely useful, and help save water.
