Any plan on continuing? #8

Hello.

I'm looking at this and I find it amazing. I'd love to use it, but I'd like to know if there will ever be plans to continue this development.

I'm the Events Manager for CCE UCX, and we're hosting monthly tournaments and scrims.

Hey there,

It'll be unlikely that development continues on this any time in the near future. The last commit was over 4 years ago and I guess a lot has changed, to a point where this project would most likely be a rewrite at this point for a few reasons:

  1. The API used for game data has moved & been altered
  2. The project uses the very original version of discord.py, which has gone through a lot of questionable decisions over the years - but as far as I know, migrating discord.py 1.0 to 2.x (whatever they have now) is also more or less a rewrite of a bunch of stuff.

Furthermore I don't play Apex anymore so there is little motivation to keep this open source project going.

If you do, (I hope you do) take a commission to create the same bot, would it be possible? I can't find any other bot that would have what you have.
