ENS has 50 ensemble members plus an unperturbed control member (CTRL). the unperturbed control member (CTRL) corresponds to the HRES

9km horizontal resolution, 12h periodical data assimilation (200K+ datapoints) using 4D-VAR (link).

There are about 200K observations in SYNOP-SHIP-METAR format.
