What just happened?

Over the past number of months there have been changes to posting of events with no advance notice that are adversely affecting live music in SL . After posting an event you were able to edit it up to the start time in case there was a change of artist. That suddenly changed so that you couldn't edit within 2 hours. You were never able to create a new event within 2 hours but you could edit an existing one, The second issue is there is a limit of how many events you can edit or post in a 24 hour period. Many venues will post all of their events for the upcoming week on the weekend. Now we get an error. It would be good if linden labs would sit down with the Live Music community in sl before bringing about changes that do not support live music in sl.  When I have tried to reach out to Linden Labs, I get no answers.  I reached out to the community email that is posted at the bottom of their public discussion calendar webpage, the email bounced back.  I had left notecards for Reed Linden who is the contract person for these issues and received no reply.  When I reached out to another person I know with Linden labs, they advised Reed Linden is no longer with Linden labs and they couldn't locate who was taking over his duties and they suggested I file a Jira as at least someone with Linden Labs will see it and hopefully they can put someone in touch with us so we can start some constructive discussion

What were you doing when it happened?

Trying to edit an event as well as trying to post upcoming ones

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I tried to edit an event to keep it current as the artist performing was changed within an hour of the event happening.As well,  I was trying to post events at my live music venue for the upcoming week

A meeting with whoever is taking over from Reed Linden would be helpful
