[BUG-233369] [Marketplace 2] One Click Demo's #10477

How would you like the feature to work?

I propose the implementation of "OneClick" demo buttons in MP 2.

From the customers perspective, the following would happen:-

  1. Clothing product pages may have a new button labelled 'Try on' or similar when the product has a demo.
  2. When the customer clicks the button, one or more demo attachments would attach to them in-world.

From the creators perspective:

  1. The creator will need to be able to select one or more items that will attach to the user when the user clicks 'Try on' (eg. a dress and a Hud). This could perhaps be done via a dedicated UI on the MP or using the VMM.
  2. It would be up to the creator to make the item behave like a demo.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

Demoing items on the MP today is quite cumbersome, its not possible to quickly flick through demos as for each demo you have to check out, go to a sandbox, rez, unpack, find the unpacked item and wear it.

Not only is this inconvenient and slows the economy, it also does not meet the standards that new residents from other platforms are used to and requires technical skill unique to SecondLife (sandboxes, unpacking) - The more we can lower the barrier to entry to shopping in SL, the more residents will participate in shopping.

Obviously this change requires a bit of collaboration between teams here as it requires vertical integration across different parts of SecondLife, but ultimately I think it would make the shopping experience much more fluid and be a real meaningful change to the marketplace experience that will make it more enjoyable and more efficient to shop on for residents
