When one goes to add a payment method, it would allow them to add a nickname to that payment method. If they already have a payment method, they could go in and add a nickname to the already existing payment method
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
If an account has multiple cards on it, it takes several minutes to look at each payment source to determine which card it is. They then could select the card. Using a nickname, they could just look at the nickname and already know which account it belongs to and instantly pick the appropriate card. For example, in the browser, if you have cards ending in (Note: I just picked 4 random set of numbers - none of my cards match any of these numbers as that would be stupid of me to do so) 1453, 5432, 2341, 4534. One is unsure of which card it belongs to (they may have a few or several). They each time have to look up which one goes with which and then determine which one that they are wanting to know even if they already know which bank they want to choose from. likewise, card ending in 1453, nickname Chase, card ending in 5432, nickname it CapitalOne, Card ending in 2341, nickname buy lindens, card ending in 4534, nickname billing, one knows exactly what card is used for what when it comes to SL. Very efficient, quick and painless. Bank Institutions, other services such as Uber (for example) also has implemented this technology/technique for their payment sources.
