I wanted to connect one more time since six mounth. And i can't stay connected or i can't connect.

Veuillez essayer ce qui suit pour résoudre ce problème :

• Si vous ne l'avez pas déjà fait depuis le début de ce problème, redémarrez votre ordinateur et éteignez complètement votre routeur/modem câble pendant 10 bonnes minutes, puis réessayez.

• Videz votre cache DNS.

  • Les instructions sur la façon de procéder sont ici : https://www.wikihow.com/Flush-DNS

• Si toujours pas de chance, essayez de passer à l'utilisation du DNS public de Google. Les instructions sur la façon de procéder sont ici : http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

• Les erreurs DNS peuvent également être causées par un logiciel antivirus.

  • F-secure et Avast sont particulièrement mauvais pour cela.
  • F-Secure (et éventuellement d'autres logiciels antivirus) peut générer des erreurs DNS lorsque vous essayez de vous connecter à SL à l'aide d'un visualiseur (n'importe quel visualiseur). L'option analyser et supprimer les virus du trafic Internet empêchera efficacement la connexion. Vous pouvez soit désactiver cette option, soit trouver un moyen d'exclure le visualiseur de la vérification.
  • Si vous utilisez Avast, accédez à Avast -> Boucliers en temps réel -> Bouclier du système de fichiers -> Paramètres experts -> exclusions -> ajouter -> accédez au dossier d'installation de SecondLife Viewer

Please try the following to fix this problem:  

• If you haven't already done so since this problem began, reboot your computer and totally power off your router/cable modem for a good 10 minutes and then try again.
• Flush your DNS cache.
  • Instructions on how to do this are here: https://www.wikihow.com/Flush-DNS
• If still no luck, try changing over to using Google Public DNS. Instructions on how to do this are here: http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/
• DNS errors might also be caused by anti-virus software.
  • F-secure and Avast are particularly bad for this.
  • F-Secure (and possibly other anti-virus software) can give DNS errors when you try to log into SL using a viewer (any viewer). The option scan and remove viruses from internet traffic will effectively prevent login. You can either disable this option or find a way to exclude the viewer from the check.
  • If you are using Avast, Go to Avast -> Realtime shields -> file system shield -> Expert settings -> exclusions -> add -> browse to the SecondLife Viewer install folder

• Do you use a proxy redirector, for example ProxyCap? This can also cause DNS errors when trying to login to Second Life.

  If this does not help then please can you do the following:

• Reproduce the login failure and then before relaunching the viewer, zip up your viewer logs folder and attach it to this issue using More -> Attach files.

• What Firewall and antivirus software do you have installed on the affected system?
• Did you install any new software on your computer just before this problem started?

• Do you have other computers in the house connected to the same home network and if so, are you also getting the DNS login error on those other systems?
