How would you like the feature to work?

llMapMarker would have similar functionality to use the marker feature of llMapDestination, but without the map popup on function call.

llMapMarker( string simname, vector pos );

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

This would be useful for sailing and other navigation HUDs that currently use llMapDestination as a way of setting destination waypoints for travelling, but this brings up the map popup every time it's called. The majority of users of these HUDs currently rely on a workaround in third-party viewers to disable the map popup using RLV settings. This function would hopefully remove the need for a workaround that relies on third-party viewers.

Issue accepted. We have no estimate when it may be implemented. Please see future release notes for this fix.
